Emmanuel Awuni (1993. Ghana)

Overview

Emmanuel Awuni was born in Accra, Ghana and lives and works in London, United Kingdom. In 2023 he completed his MA degree at The Royal Academy of Arts, following his BA at Goldsmiths University of London (2017). Solo exhibitions include Harlesden Highstreet Gallery, London (2021);  Sundy, London (2022); Pipeline, London (2022); Copperfield, London (2023). Awuni’s work has been included in a number of group exhibitions: PUBLIC, London (2024); Kunstmuseum  Solingen, Germany (2023); Copperfield, London (2023); PUBLIC, London (2023); Nir Altman, Munich (2022); Sadie Coles HQ, London (2021); Royal Academy of Arts, Winter/Summer Exhibitions (2020)  and Harlesden Highstreet Gallery (2020). In 2024 Awuni was artist-in-residence with The  Roberts Insittute of Art, his work is also part of The David and Indre Roberts Collection.
